Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence
The leads multi-disciplinary research projects in cybersecurity and coordinates cyber educational programs and initiatives at 17³Ô¹ÏÍø.  Artificial Intelligence is the main focus of research efforts in the 17³Ô¹ÏÍø computer science department with an emphasis on applications in cybersecurity, autonomous unmanned vehicles, bioinformatics, health care, and environmental and coastal science. Computer Science also hosts 17³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Research Data Center, which serves as a hub for computational research projects in cybersecurity, AI, STEM and educational outreach to government, industry, educational, community and K-12 partners.
