The 17³Ô¹ÏÍø has announced that New Orleans-native musician Ivan Neville will serve as the keynote speaker for our Spring 2026 commencement ceremony.
Neville has built a career as a vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is the son of Aaron Neville and has performed with The Neville Brothers, as well as on his father’s solo projects.

The Lakefront Arena offers all guests an accessible, safe environment. Our accommodations and special services will allow all guests with disabilities the opportunity to park and attend an event with ease and enjoyment. The accessible entrance is at Ground One located under Ramp One.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be located on the front, left side of the commencement platform. Please sit where you will be able to see the interpreters. You may also ask one of the Lakefront Arena attendants to let you know where to sit for ASL viewing.
Wheelchair Accessible seating is located on the ground level. Companion seating for those who need accessible accommodations is limited to one.
For those whose seats are located in the lower or upper balconies but require access to an elevator, please enter at Ground one located under Ramp 1.
Parking facilities are located in the ADA lot as directed by the Parking attendants entering through the South Gate. To gain access to ADA parking, proper vehicle registration is required as well as a current disabled placard with a matching identification card. A Drop-off area near ramp one is provided for those who need easy access to the accessible entrance. Simply inform an attendant to direct you accordingly or follow the signs once you enter South Gate.
